missing receipt delayed refund
I must say the promised email with my deposit refund never arrived. It has been several days. The absence of a paper receipt for my cash deposit felt a bit odd. It seems odd when a so-called luxury hotel struggles to manage petty cash.

some issues for the price
lack of apology uncomfortable furniture
the room was clean and it was quiet
the front desk tried to charge an excessive amount on my card it was declined thank goodness there was no apology from the staff. the room did not look like the images online it was mostly black and dark red. the furniture was really uncomfortable it seemed like a dorm room

stylish retreat
fitness mat dumbbell fitness early check-in
the room had two sinks opposite each other in the bathroom. I appreciated the inclusion of a mat and dumbbells for fitness within the room. Early check-in was accommodated upon my arrival, which i found helpful. The location in the Marais district was very convenient for exploring.
the hotel took a cash deposit and did not return it at checkout. They promised to email me, but it has been four days without a response. This felt untrustworthy for a hotel of this caliber.

the staff were very cute and accommodating . They provided assistance with check-in. The team generally was attentive and friendly, contributing to a positive atmosphere.

dim lighting limited breakfast
The lighting in the room was quite dim. It made it difficult to see clearly, especially in the evenings. The breakfast options felt somewhat limited.. I expected more variety. The service was slow one morning, and I had to ask several times for a coffee refill.

slow staff insufficient light
the room was nice and the location to the marais area worked.
the hotel experience felt short of true five-star quality. the staff seemed slow, they sometimes was to dislike repeating requests. i found the room's design prioritized aesthetics over practical use, and that the light was insufficient making it gloomy and hard to see things.

slow service complex system
The check-in felt chaotic. It took ages. the in-room control system baffled me completely. it seemed overly complicated and not user-friendly at all. also, i thought there were not enough amenities for a hotel in this category.

fitness equipment separate sinks different zones
the room had fitness equipment including a mat and dumbbells. two sinks opposed each other in the bathroom. there were different zones in the room.
the lighting in the sink area was very dark, that impacts practicality.
